Every person deserves clean water. We have the
opportunity to partner with US based organization
to provide clean water to families in Guatemala. A
water filter costs $35.00 and includes the
manufacturing, testing, delivery and education for
the family so they know how to use it. The water
filter will last 3-6 years, depending upon usage.
Typical with many Mayan families around Lake Atitlan, children gather drinking water from the Lake in these plastic containers and carry it home. As you might imagine, this water is contaminated and no one should be drinking from it without purifying it first. Some families drink bottled water, when they can afford it.
