Education is the key to economic development and opportunity. Globally Minded Works helps support schools in rural Guatemala so children can learn. We are firm believers that literacy is imperative to getting out of the cycle of poverty. Although school is free in Guatemala, most rural schools in Guatemala often lack basic necessities, like books, paper, school supplies and more.
