Guatemala is a
country rich in agriculture, history, culture, beauty, and
textiles, yet one of the poorer nations of the earth. Plagued by
oppression and poverty, many children don't go to school because
parents can't afford the fees. Many of these children then spend
their days working in the fields, harvesting fruits, vegetables,
and coffee.
Globally Minded Works exists to help Mayan families in the Highlands of Guatemala rise above poverty through charitable and educational development.
